Here is my list of essential books for leadership
Radical Focus by Christina Wodtke – this is like an OKR bible for everybody who’s willing to drive a change in their company.
Agile Estimating and Planning by Mike Cohn – this book helped me so much when I was rolling out SCRUM for the first time in my career as a leader. It helps to address all the WHYs you may face from the team and the management and gives very down-to-earth examples.
Winning by Jack Welch – this book gave me the 5Ys trick and many others way before they became mainstream. Tons of great tips and a very good read in general.
Measure What Matters by John Doerr – still going through, love it so far, and will update the description shortly.
Never Eat Alone by Keith Ferrazzi – same here, still in the process. Great read that definitely gets you thinking and reconsidering your modesty.
Elon Musk by Walter Isaacson – a very inspiring story about the genius of our times, with all his demons, ups and downs. The very list this book would give you is some extra motivation and desire to dream big.
The Sheikh CEO by Dr. Yasar Jarrar – after visiting Dubai and witnessing what was achieved there in a very short period of time, I got very curious about who stood behind all that success. This book unveils a story with several practical recommendations that could be handy for any leader. A truly inspiring book by all means.
The Lean Startup by Eric Ries – definitely a must-read for startups and all entrepreneurs. A bible for lean development.
